His son Joseph Columbus Marion came to Tx with his mother Elizabeth to live with their uncle Robert in Waco but moved to Sidney in Comanche Co. Robert had gone to CA at the age of 12 during the gold rush and I guess was the only brother that survived. My grandfather and his siblings along with my mother and her siblings I believe were all born at the home place near Sidney.
